What is JUVÉDERM® made from?

The JUVÉDERM® collection of fillers is made from hyaluronic acid (HA). What is BOTOX®?

BOTOX® Cosmetic is the only approved treatment to temporarily improve the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines between the brows and crow’s feet lines in adults. It can also be administered for excessive sweating.

How does BOTOX® Cosmetic work?
For the frown lines area, your specialist will administer 5 injections into muscles in your forehead—1 in the procerus muscle and 4 in the corrugator muscles.

Injecting BOTOX® Cosmetic into the muscles that cause frown lines temporarily reduces the activity of those muscles. The result is a reduction in the appearance of those lines.

BOTOX® Cosmetic targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow’s feet—the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. Your specialist will inject these muscles with BOTOX® Cosmetic to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of your crow’s feet lines and frown lines between your brows.

What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy uses time-tested ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin naturally—without surgery or downtime. This is the only non-invasive procedure FDA-cleared to lift skin on the neck, under the chin and brows.

How does Ultherapy work?
Ultherapy bypasses the surface of the skin to deliver the right amount of ultrasound energy at the right depths and the right temperature.

This energy triggers a natural response under the skin, jumpstarting the process that produces fresh, new collagen.

Some of our clients see an initial effect right after their treatment, but the real results appear over 2-3 months as new collagen works to lift and tighten skin on the neck, chin and brow as well smooth skin on the chest.

While Ultherapy won’t duplicate the results of a facelift, it’s a clinically proven non-invasive alternative for those who are not ready for surgery.

What to Expect

Before your treatment:

One of the first things we would recommend is coming in for a complimentary consultation to discuss your concerns. Our Staff will address your concerns, asses your skin, and determine if you are a good candidate for this treatment.

After booking your Ultherapy treatment, you won’t need any pre-preparations to or any skincare regimens to move forward in the treatment.

During your treatment:

After cleaning and identifying the areas you would like to treat, our Nurse Sajia will apply the ultrasound gel and place the smooth treatment applicator against your skin. After that, our nurse will use the Ultherapy ultrasound imaging to first see deep within the skin to determine the energy of the treatment, which will then deliver the focused ultrasound energy beneath the skin’s surface.

Comfort levels can vary from person to person, but the sensation only lasts while the energy is being delivered.

The length of your treatment will depend on the area being treated and your individual treatment plan. A face and neck procedure typically takes about 60-90 minutes.

After Your Treatment:

There is no downtime! You can return to your normal activities immediately after your procedure without any post-treatment restrictions or requirements.

Your skin might appear flushed at first, but the redness should disappear within a few hours. Some patients experience slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.

Less common side-effects may include temporary bruising or numbness on small areas of skin. As with any medical procedure, there is the possibility for other rare effects, which our staff will review with you.

Microneedling with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

It’s involves extracting a couple of dessert spoons of a patient’s blood from their arm and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate the plasma – the fluid part – from the red and white blood cells.

The concentrated plasma, which is rich in platelets – the part of the blood rich with growth factors – is then injected into the face. Some practitioners combine it with dermal fillers to further plump up problem areas, such as under the eye.
